PennSpring Continues Growth, Adding Partner with Strong Tech Expertise
Former RKL CPA and Business Consultant Emily Bomberger to Propel Tech-Enabled Investment Thesis
LANCASTER, PA, August 3, 2021 – The PennSpring Group, a direct investment firm and sell-side advisor focused on lower middle market opportunities, announced today the addition of Emily Bomberger as Partner. Emily brings to PennSpring over 12 years of experience in financial reporting services for privately owned companies, concentrating in transaction and Day 1 accounting, consolidations and enterprise valuation. For PennSpring, Emily is focused on acquisition due diligence and holdings value enhancement, as specifically driven by platform add-ons.
Emily most recently served as a Senior Consultant in the Business Consulting Services Group at RKL, a U.S. Top 100 CPA firm. She primarily supported private equity-owned clients in the SaaS, manufacturing and life sciences industries. Prior to joining RKL, Emily worked in the IT field, specializing in eCommerce, data analytics and mobile development.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting Concentration from Millersville University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and is accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
